HOW LONG IS THE PROCESS OF A TRANSCRIPTION PROJECT?
Typically, transcription projects are accomplished within three (3) business days of the requested date, which includes an assessment period. However, a more precise timeframe is determined based on factors such as complexity, style, length, quality of the recording, and research needed for accuracy, and is proposed to the client accordingly.
Our Transcription Specialists are assigned 60-90 minutes of audio per work shift. Depending on factors such as audio quality, formatting, transcription style, and any special instructions from the client, it can take between 6 to 12 hours to transcribe a 60-minute audio file.
However, this is just the first pass, and our intensive quality control process of review and accuracy check requires additional production hours to ensure an error-free and client-ready file.
-
On average, it takes about an hour to transcribe a 10-minute audio file. For editing a file, the average is two hours per hour of audio recording. Proofing takes about 1 to 1.5 hours for every hour of transcribed content.
-
Our standard turnaround time is between 48-72 hours upon receipt of the audio file, and this timeframe may include consultations with the client regarding the transcription project.
Expedited turnaround time is possible at an additional cost.
HOW DO YOU PRICE YOUR SERVICE?
The cost of our services is determined by various factors such as the nature of the project, the volume of work, and the requested turnaround time. For clients with ongoing or high-volume projects, we offer discounts to ensure maximum value for their investment. We strive to collaborate with our clients to develop a tailored program that best suits their requirements.
